A story a day or I just can’t play!”
That’s the dilemma faced in every episode of BOOKABOO, a multi-award winning pre-school show on Kids’ CBC. The series, already a great success in the UK, encourages children (3-6 year olds) and grown-ups to share books together, with the help of the main character – a puppet named BOOKABOO.
Our Tales for Tots program this month was all about reading SUbway Mouse to help BookaBoo be able to play his concert!
After reading the book we created our own BookaBoo puppets, and watched an episode. Two lucky mamas – Roxanna and Gwen took home a prize pack to include the book Subway Mouse from Scholastic Canada and a BookaBoo DVD from Kids' CBC.
