Nose Hill Park
Surrounded by 12 residential communities, this natural environment park in Calgary’s northwest end covers 11 square kilometres. Nose Hill Park boasts numerous hiking trails, archaeological sites and dedicated off-leash areas for families to explore.
Renfrew Park Playground
Equipped with swings, slides, chimes and a gong, and an aviation-themed bouncer, this park is ideal for younger children. The park also has soccer fields, a softball diamond, a baseball diamond and a barbecue area.
Capitol Hill Dinosaur Playground
Children will love the challenge of the dinosaur climber, gazebo climber, wobbly bridge and spider web climber. The park includes a baseball diamond and lots of grass to run in or to kick a ball around.
Kinsmen Zooventure Playground
Adventure awaits at the Kinsmen ZooVenture Playground. Features include animal-themed slides, tunnels and mazes in this playground located just outside Destination Africa.
South Glenmore Park
With its rubber floor and treed perimeter, this park caters to both toddlers and school-aged children. Kids can brave the triple-slide jungle gym or cool off in the upright jets of the splash pad. Families can also explore the numerous trails and pathways that surround the Glenmore Reservoir.
