We set out a blanket, got the little ones ready to dive into the pumpkins, set out a bin with pieces in with some water, cut up chunks so each child had their own, and away they went.
(Of course part of the texture is the seeds so please pay attention to those going into the mouth)
Some chose to eat it right away – who says sensory play is just about touch!
Pumpkin Sensory Bin:
Remove the top of a pumpkin
cut up pumpkin or leave whole removing some of the seeds
adding a touch of water makes the inside take on a different texture
